Doraemon is a manga series written by Fujiko Fujio from December 1969 to April 1996 published in the Shogakukan CoroCoro Comic magazine. There are a total of 1345 chapters of the manga, selected for packaging and put into 45 tankōbon volumes under the Tentōmushi Comics label, also published by Shogakukan; Manga has been translated and published in many languages around the world.
The series tells the unhappy life of Nobita and Doraemon from the future to help his life become better. The work has also been adapted into other media such as movies and video games.
